The Home is funded by covenants and donations from individuals, businesses, clubs and groups as well as an annual Government subvention.

Funds are also raised through events such as luncheons and tea parties but this type of activity was put on hold since March 2020 by the COVID-19 epidemic. The remaining major fundraiser is the sale of gift-wrap paper, which is especially popular at Christmas but a range of paper is available for all occasions throughout the year.
